To promote sustainable agriculture and improve soil fertility through organic methods, Govardhan Go Shala Ahmedpur, Tq. Ahmedpur, Dist. Latur, organized a Farmers Awareness and Organic Farming Training Camp on 04.11.2022 at Ekurga, Tq. & Dist. Latur. The primary objective of the camp was to educate farmers about the benefits of adopting organic farming techniques and to reduce the dependency on chemical fertilizers and pesticides.
A large number of local farmers participated in the event, showing keen interest in the subject. The Go Shala invited experienced agricultural experts who shared insights on how organic farming not only preserves soil health but also improves crop yield and contributes to long-term environmental balance. The speakers emphasized the importance of using natural compost, cow dung, and cow urine in farming practices, highlighting their role in rejuvenating the soil and supporting biodiversity.
